Nick Bunton is a funeral videographer covering Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, London, Norfolk, Suffolk and the SouthEast.

We are often asked to film family funeral services. There are various reasons for this, from family living overseas, unwell or who cannot attend the service. More often than not, it’s to capture the service, including every word spoken during readings and the eulogy. On the day with the emotions and upset, it can be tough to take it all in, so having it professionally recorded allows them and future generations of the family to watch if they wish. We also offer live streaming if any family not able to be present on the day wishes to be there on the day of the funeral virtually, please see our Funeral Live Streaming page for details.

I film funerals in a very unobtrusive style, to capture everything taking place on the day in a natural, documentary style. I also record all the audio spoken during the service, including the singing of hymns by the congregation and/or choir.

Nick did the live stream of my mum's funeral last week and was so professional and considerate. He completely understood how important it was for us, with family in Australia and all over the UK who were unable to attend due to covid restrictions. Nick went the extra mile to check out the venue beforehand, as its rural location was a concern for broadband speed, and his technical wizardry managed to overcome the challenges. The live stream was perfect and Nick also seamlessly incorporated video tributes from my sister and nephew in Australia. He sensitively filmed the service itself, being very considerate of the emotion of the occasion. Nick did a live stream video with 2 cameras of my dad’s Funeral Service. This was so important to us as we had immediate family abroad that were unable to come to the UK along with friends & family here that were unable to attend due to the current restrictions. The video on the day was viewed by 26 but in reality reached far more than that and they were all able to be there virtually and feel they were part of the day.
The video was professionally done,
beyond our expectation and the comments we have received since are testament to that.
Nick has been very professional and helpful throughout guiding us through the process. Even helping arrange a photo montage, which was played at the service and before via the live stream so no one missed out.

Funeral Live Streaming

We are now able to offer funeral videography live streaming in Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, London, Norfolk, Suffolk and the SouthEast. This enables you to have your funeral not just filmed, but we can offer you a professional funeral live streaming service so all family and friends that cannot be at the funeral service, whether they are unwell, live overseas or maybe it’s just due to the number of guests allowed at funerals service.

How does funeral live streaming work?

We offer a service of up to four cameras available for live streaming, we broadcast the live view to a Vimeo, a professional high end and reliable system. All viewers don’t need an account, to download apps or even use a password! this removes unnecessary stress and worries. You will receive a private link ahead of time to share with your family and friends that wish to watch the live streaming funeral service.

We begin our live stream up to fifteen minutes before the service, this allows all viewers to be ready and hearing audio as well as the video lets them know they are ready for when the service starts.

The live event recording will also be available for 30 days online should anyone miss it live or wish to re-watch the event. You can also download the recording to keep included in the cost.

By also recording the service, if for any reason we had no internet available or internet service difficulties to broadcast live we can get the funeral service available online quickly for you so everyone will be able to view the service.

YOUR FUNERAL VIDEOGRAPHY QUESTIONS

It’s very possible you have some funeral videography questions by now, so we have put together some common questions we get asked to help you

Are you funeral videos High Definition?

Yes, we record all our funeral videos in high definition which will provide a high-quality image on devices up to a large TV. Most modern 4K televisions will upscale the film to 4K on playback and will also look great.

How are your funeral video films delivered?

Our films are sent directly to you via a download link we send you in an email. We do have an option for lovely keepsake boxes to store a USB flash drive containing the film. Please ask if you would like further details.

Do I need two videographers?

No, you don’t need two videographers for the funeral filming. I would only advise this if you are looking to film the departure from one location and the arrival at the next location and it’s not possible for a single videographer to leave last and get there ahead to set up to film the arrival.

How long does it take to get our video after the funeral?

We usually say between 2 – 4 weeks after the funeral, this is to allow for very busy times. We do our very best to get your film finished with our signature editing and delivered to you as soon as possible. We try to deliver your video in around 2-3 weeks.
